Our Team
Our dedicated team of three passionate individuals is committed to both the automotive world and the fight against human trafficking. Jody Dyess, the Executive Director of TUFF and Say Something School Assemblies, stands as an active boots-on-the-ground advocate, fighting alongside organizations like FREE International and the Shepherds Taskforce for over a decade.
Heath "Groovy" McGovern, known as the voice of the Rat Rod nation, brings his enthusiasm to the cause. As a DJ for numerous car shows nationwide, Groovy channels his passion into fighting exploitation and trafficking. His #cuzgroovysaidso mantra motivates car enthusiasts to use their love for cars to liberate juveniles in the U.S.
Jerimy Powell, the President of the Mississippi Street Rod Association, with a lifelong career in the auto industry, is dedicated to ensuring that teams searching for exploited kids are adequately funded and equipped for the job. Serving as the TUFF events coordinator, Jerimy plays a crucial role in driving our mission forward. Together, our team is revved up and committed to making a difference. #TUFFTeam #DriveForChange
